SUSANNA & RONNY TERBEEK
On 10 October, Susanna & Ronny celebrated their matrimony in a night no one will forget. They held their wedding ceremony and reception at The Pier in Geelong. Ronny & Susanna came to us after reviewing our work on social media. Ronny loved the fact that our DJ MC Michael King (AKA DJ MickeyK) is an extra ordinary MC with amazing flare and knows how to get the party rocking!
Juanita Marquis and Michael King held our final meeting with the clients running through and finalizing timing, music, speeches, and the layout for the magic mirror photo booth. We love these face to face meetings with our clients because we can get to know our clients in a relaxed and comfortable environment, it helps us to build rapport and once we were finished we knew we would be able to provide them a perfect evening to be able to celebrate with their family and closest friends. During our final meeting one of the lovely moments was a mutual look and understanding between the two as they discussed their entrance and bridal first dance songs from Patrizio Buanne. One of the funny and satisfying moments for us was being told why they had booked us in the beginning.
They loved the flare and personality that we had brought to past weddings including our signature red tie and vest!

The ceremony was held in the enclosed glass terrace emphasising the floor to ceiling waterfront views, in front of friends and family. The ceremony was conducted by celebrant Keren Loyer.
Whilst the ceremony was taking place our team of Juanita Marquis, Barry Mitchell and DJ MC Mickey was turning the Lillias room, an impeccable room with splendid views into spectacular for the wedding reception.
We set the room with our wireless uplighting to a dusty pink colour which really added some colour to the room, matching with the couple’s colour scheme, and the Magic Mirror Photo Booth was set up with our premium red carpet, bollards, backdrop and best ever props!! After cocktail hour, we really kicked it into high gear and set the tone for the night with their bridal party introductions. Based on the responses (physical, verbal, etc) from the couple’s guests, we were able to start to get a feel for the vibe that we thought would keep everyone on the dance floor throughout the party. Something that stood out about Susanna & Ronny was how much love and happy vibe they shared, this was none more evident than when the anniversary game and the classic shoe game was played. One of the questions asked was ‘who do you love most in the room right now?” which Susanna had a hard time answering but her son came to the rescue bringing in he’s shoe as well!! Susanna and Ronny made it clear that they cared that everyone had FUN! and wanted us to do what we do best! We love them for that comment!
The Mirror Booth was given such a workout, the guests loved it, and struck poses all night long. The only time it got a break was when we closed it for the special moments including speeches, games and the bridal first dance.
The night was filled with magic moments including the moment when our DJ MC asked everyone to form a circle around the dance floor and then invited the newlyweds into the middle to begin their very first dance as husband and wife. The dance floor soon filled up with love not to mention a beautiful cloud like effect so our newlyweds could ‘dance on a cloud’ or should we say their cloud of love.
When the dance floor opened, DJ MC MickeyK and Assistant Barry rocked with Susanna and Ronny and their guests all night!
We were honoured to serve as an integral aspect of the evening through class and fun.
